BARKING RIVERSIDE LONDON PARTNERSHIP

Barking Riverside London is a partnership between the Greater London Authority (GLA) and L&Q which was formed in March 2016. The partners will be working together to drive housing delivery on this site to over 600 homes per annum. L&Q is one of London’s leading residential developers delivering award winning mixed use schemes across London and the South East, creating places where people want to live and work. Coupled with the Mayor of London’s drive to deliver affordable homes makes this one of the biggest opportunities to deliver high quality and expedient housing delivery in one of London’s biggest and most exciting opportunity areas.

Based on strong environmental principles, with a high proportion of larger homes for families, Barking Riverside London will feature healthcare, schools, open space, public squares, new rail station with links to central London, up to 65,000sq.m. commercial floor space including shopping, community and leisure facilities with an ambition to create a new night-time economy in this part of the borough.
